THE DILIGENT INVESTMENT NEGOTIATOR
Fresa specializes in international investment law. She joined Bahar after an 8 (eight) year experience in Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). During her time serving the Indonesian government in BKPM, Fresa directly engaged as the negotiator for investment agreement in regional forums of ASEAN and ASEAN with Dialogue Partners, including the mega regional arrangement of Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). In addition, Fresa was also involved as the investment negotiator for Indonesia-European Union CEPA, the review of Indonesia-Japan EPA, and other forums such as the APEC Investment Expert Group meetings and sub-regional forums. Fresa took charge as Lead of Indonesian delegation in the 2018 Special ASEAN Coordinating Committee on Investment meeting prior to leaving BKPM.
NOTABLE TRANSACTION
During her assignment at Bahar, Fresa has demonstrated excellent skills in assisting and giving legal advices to notable client projects of the firm ranging from financing transaction of a National Strategic Project, acquisitions to a major multinational investment company, assisting a substantial state-owned enterprise in drafting their board manual, and investment on marine cruise project plan. Her current key work is assisting a state-owned company in expanding their business activity.
EDUCATION
Fresa graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam majoring in International and European Economic Law. She completed her Bachelor of Law degree from University of Sriwijaya as a Cum Laude graduate concentrating in the International Law.
CERTIFICATION
Fresa holds her advocate license from Indonesian Advocate Association (PERADI) and is a registered mediator from Pusat Mediasi Nasional (PMN).
